The Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) is a qualification for candidates who want to teach post 16. It is ideal for those who require an introduction to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, or are seeking career progression within their area of work.
Course Content
For those who
- require an introduction to teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector, or
- are seeking career progression within their area of work, or
- want to teach people working towards recognised qualifications including NVQs
- are seeking to work towards ATLS/QTLS/DTLLS status, or
- teach on a one-to-one or group basis, or
- teach either private or non publicly funded courses, or
- intend to be trainers in industry, commerce or the post-16 sector.
