Entry qualification to work as a gym instructor. This is an industry recognised course.

A career as a fitness instructor is both fun and rewarding. You will be working with clients helping them to achieve their fitness needs. You will be supervising the gym and giving professional advice and support to your customers with exercise and fitness programmes.

The course is designed with two main parts, exercise and fitness knowledge theory and gym practical. The theory is studied at home and the practical gym through attendance.

Format: 5 days plus 1 day assessment, theory, home study.

Certification: Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction (GYM)

Entry Requirement: Over 16,

Assessment Type: -  1 hour multiple choice exam, worksheets, practical assessment, CPR
(additional course)
